Reception at the airport by one of our bilingual guides. Transfer to the town of Nauta, the first population founded by the Spaniards on the shores of the Marañón River. The trip approximately lasts 1.30h on a road of 90 kilometers (55 miles), totally asphalted. In Nauta, you will be embarked in PSAL boats to visit the confluence of the Ucayali and Marañón rivers, the head of the Amazon River. Enjoy the spectacular view of the Amazon River from a 100 feet watching tower. Arrival to the lodge and accommodation. Lunch. Depending of the climate conditions, we will observe a beautiful sunset from our watch-tower. Dinner and briefing about the activities of the next day. Night at PSAL.

Day Two: PACAYA SAMIRIA NATIONAL RESERVE (PSNR)
Jungle wild dawn. Birdwatching. Breakfast. Departure to the PSNR. Excursion in search of gray and pink dolphins down the Yanayacu river. Chance to observe flora and fauna (aquatic birds, aquatic turtles, sloths, monkeys, macaws). The first thing that gets the attention of the visitor is that the water of rivers and lakes reflects, with the fidelity of a mirror, the sky and the clouds, the vegetation of the shores and the big trees, that the visitor has the sensation of navigating through endless mirrors of waters. That is why the PSNR is known as the Jungle of the Mirrors. Lunch (box lunch). Swimming. Piranha fishing. Canoe ride. Birdwatching. Identification of plants. Return to lodge. Dinner. Observation of stars and planets. Myths and legends. Night at the PSAL.
